Kokoro (Japanese: ) */kəkərə/ - unites the notions of heart, mind, and spirit: It sees these three elements as being indivisible from one other.

Kokoro Personal Training Studio was built to provide the Mimico and South Etobicoke community one-on-one and small group fitness and nutritional coaching based on primitive rituals and patterns. The end goal with each client is to move towards a harmonious crescendo that aligns and strengthens mind, body and soul.

All clients are encouraged to commit to a complete wellness plan: grounded in nutritional coaching and developed through personal training.

meet coach Colin

Ex-marketer and corporate-ladder-climber turned nutritionist & personal trainer; Coach Colin brings his experience as a farm hand and competitive athlete to his health & wellness ethos. Having used functional strength & conditioning and mindful eating to overcome stress and anxiety in his own life, Colin approaches his clients with empathy and focuses on overall wellness: helping them build physical and mental strength while feeling present in their day-to-day lives.

Colin’s training technique is centered around primitive patterns - the ways in which the body was designed to move and generate energy. Combining his expertise in nutrition and personal training, Colin builds highly customized lifestyle plans to help each client set and reach attainable and sustainable goals. He’s also an active member of the Mimico and South Etobicoke communities.
